 We only use the highest grade of nutrients, vitamins, and products available, ensuring the efficacy of our products. Everything that we use is brand new and sterile. Our IVs are created so that anyone with a normal heart, liver, and kidney function can have one without a blood test.

IVs are very common, and the risks are very low. The most significant risk from IV therapy is an infection at the injection site or an unexpected allergic reaction. To ensure that you are a good candidate and avoid any complications, our licensed medical professional will thoroughly review your health intake form with you before you receive an IV.  

 Believe it or not, after your IV, the vitamins will stay in your system and maintain your levels for 2-3 weeks. 

 There is no exact answer to this as everyone responds differently. Some may benefit from an initial weekly vitamin infusion, while others may be fine with one a quarter. Physicians and pharmacists formulated our IV therapy protocols and vitamin injections to ensure their safety and effectiveness. Only water-soluble vitamins are used, so the body absorbs what it needs and excretes the rest.

We recommend IV therapy when you need to boost your energy levels, before surgery or travel, hangover recovery, have a hard workout, or want to be proactive with your health.
 

  The rare side effects from having an IV are:

• Minor swelling/pain at the injection site
• Minor bleeding/bruise at the injection site
• Please inform us of all allergies before receiving IV therapy. In the extremely rare case of an allergic reaction to a medication or supplement, we will dose with an antihistamine or use an Epi-Pen as appropriate.

  Before treatment, we review health history, allergies, screen for contraindications, and take a complete set of vitals to ensure you are an appropriate candidate for IV therapy. Some contraindications are:

• Congestive Heart Failure
• Kidney Failure
• Chronic Kidney Disease
• Heart Arrhythmia
• Liver Cirrhosis
• Bleeding/Clotting Disorders

  The effects of nutritional IVs are not guaranteed and can take up to a few hours to notice. Later in the day, you might experience a frequency in urination. You might feel very tired and relaxed at bedtime. For the next few days, depending on the IV Nutrient you select, one might feel more energetic, clear-headed, hydrated, invigorated, recharged, focused, and might see improvement in the texture of skin and hair.  

  Although drinking water takes a while before being absorbed by the body, being well hydrated before your IV is strongly advised. Being well hydrated before your IV will make your experience more pleasant and easier for our medical staff to complete the procedure. Eating something beforehand is at your discretion.  

  Usually, people are afraid of needles because they had a bad experience in a hospital or doctor's office. We use the smallest needles allowed for nutritional IVs; the initial injection might feel like a "poke." Just remember to prepare yourself, breathe deeply, remain calm mentally. We offer warming pads and topical numbing cream; we want the experience to be positive for you.  

  The process is entirely safe and pain-free. We even have numbing spray! There is no needle in your arm. Instead, it is a very small, thin, plastic tubing. You will still have full movement of your arm to use your phone, browse social media, or change the channel.  

  Our treatments are elective, so it's not required to have a doctor's order note before treatment. We also don't offer medical advice. And of course, you are always welcome to consult with our medical director if you have any questions.  

  While most of our clients are eligible, NUVO BODY reserves the right to withhold treatment if we feel it would not be in the client's best interest.  

  While many of our clients are athletes, if you are sponsored or have concerns, we advise that you check with your coach, sponsor, or governing body before treatment.

  Did you know that most people only absorb 20-30% of what they ingest when it comes to oral vitamins? We try to eat healthy, but our environment has become so toxic that we aren't getting the amount of vitamins from the food that we need. Utilizing IV therapy allows the essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to bypass the gut, providing 100% absorption and immediate use by your body.   We believe in optimal wellness. Your body needs maintenance just like your car! Keeping your immune system strong and your vitamin levels high allow your body to fight off disease. Our vitamins and antioxidants also have anti-aging benefits and help keep cells healthy!  

  Anticipate your first IV therapy appointment to take less than 2 hours.Your first IV therapy Evaluation will last between 15 - 45 minutes, including paperwork and physical examination. It is important that the paperwork is completed at the time of your first appointment.
Generally, IV infusion takes between 30 to 60 minutes once the IV is in place. The size of the vein we are able to use, and the client's comfort levels are also factors that affect the speed at which we can infuse the fluid.All subsequent visits should have you out in less than 75 minutes. Our vitamin booster shots can be done in less than 15 minutes!

  Our minimum order amount to travel is $100. We offer mobile vitamin shots or add-ons to an IV! It's fine if it's someone else getting the IV... like if you want an IV & your friend wants a B12 MIC shot!

  Our experience is that medical insurance companies do not cover these services. However, if your insurance company does cover our services, we will provide you with the information you will need to file for reimbursement.
